Full Service Somm

Delivered to your Door

  • Get Some Somm provides custom guided wine tastings for groups of 12-16 people. Each tasting is about an hour and comprises three comparative tastings plus additional add-ons depending on the particular event.

We provide the glassware, tasting sheets, and other educational material tailored to your specific event.

  • We come to your apartment building and work with the space you already have available, whether that’s a common room, kitchen area, conference room, roof deck or something else entirely.

The tasting is exclusive to the guests at the seating, but we don’t need to necessarily have a fully enclosed room to execute a beautiful event. All that is required is seating for 12+ people and access to a sink somewhere in the vicinity.

  • We work primarily with building staff to build experiences for their residences.

But, if you live in a building and want to host an event, we’re happy to work with you too! We have a minimum guest count of 12 per tasting, friends and neighbors soon to be friends, all are welcome.

  • We build our experiences around a collaborative setting that fosters interaction with your fellow tasters. Whether you are booking the event for a group of friends or for residents in your building, by the end we’ll all be neighbors. Mr. Rogers would be proud.

  • Love what you’re tasting? We’ve got you. Some Somm works with DC’s premier wine store, Schneiders of Capital Hill, to source premium wines for the events and we offer exclusive discounts to guests who want to purchase bottles for home delivery.

  • Average per guest fee is $60, but will depend on the menu of wines we select for your event. The price includes the wines, glassware tasting notes, tasting sheets and other educational materials.

Each event includes a $250 service fee.
